Hello doctor my name hardik. My age Is about 25 and I am a asthmatic patient. I want to ask you question regarding my medicine. I am taking a medicine related to asthma the medicine name is asthalin rotacaps capsules, as many of says that dnt take this medicine much because it causes to your health. I am young now so according to you what should I do. Is this medicine is to dangerous for health. Any other medicine that I can take.

Dear lybrate-user, asthalin inhaler and rotacaps are inhalational beta agonists, one of the mainstay of asthma management besides bronchodilators and steroids. It may cause increased heart rate and palpitation in some patients, but in my opinion is not at all dangerous, as hundreds of my patients are using it without any trouble. Health Query

I have nose congestion and dryness of nose to ac. I am using telecast f table and fluticone ft nasal spray. It’s not reducing the nose congestion. Since I have asthma I am using foracort 200 rotacaps daily twice. If I have more congestion I am using foracort 200 instead of twice taking three time.

Hello Doctor, i am a salaried person in Chandigarh, every night around 2 to 3am i faced lot of cough and also faced breath problem then i take one capsule of aerocort rotacaps (cipla) inhiller and feel relax. What can i do. Your suggestion are highly appreciate.

I do proper exercise and pranayam. Don't eat fast food or anything like that. But still. After waking up I sneeze a lot .my nose often blocked after waking up. And no matter how good I am in whole day .i need to take inhaler (foracort rotacaps 100) in midnight after sleep. I don't want to take inhaler .but don't know how to stop it. I don't being fine for whole day why I have to take it in midnight after sleep. Please help me out.

You may be having allergic rhinitis sir, also if there is cough and wheezing at midnight there may be asthmatic bronchitis also. To properly diagnose and treat it you need to get a thorough consultation. Meanwhile take tablet allegra m at bed time, it will reduce ua need for inhaler.

I have been using seroflo 250 rotacaps since 2013. Dosage is as per need i.e when I feel short of breath, since couple of months I am feeling numbness and weakness in nerves after taking dose. And I even observed my short of breath is due to irregular timings of food intake and mostly gastric. Do I need to change my medication.
