Hyperflaten lung, repeated pft normal (82%), taking foracort 200 rotacap 2 capsule morning and night .doctor said reduced does in next visit .hospital outdoor is closed for lockdown and covid for 4 month. Currently getting dry mouth, throat,strong carving fot something may be side effect. No cough, no breathing problem. Can I reduce dose? If yes, how much?

Name: raj suffering from- breathing / respiration problem, chest always blocked, anger, excitement, restlessness using these medicines- montelukast 10 mg (od) levocetirizine 5 mg (od) cipla foracort 200 rotacaps inhaler, levolin inhaler may be this disease- seasonal / weather allergy diagnosis: x ray, pulmonology test shows no asthma result: no improvement, severely ill form past 5 months, I am suffering from breathing problem. I find very difficult to breath. I consulted Dr. bp singh (lucknow) a renowned pulmonologist. He prescribed me montelukast 10 mg ot levocetirizine 5 mg od foracort 200 rotacaps inhaler levolin inhaler but this is not working for the past 5 months. I am severely ill my chest is always blocked. I find very difficult to breath. As I have researched I may have seasonal or weather allergy. Please help me please tell me the right cure. All these medicines I am taking is not working. Due to this problem, I cannot do my regular work so please give me the right prescription.

It looks more like anxiety than respiratory problems. In severe anxiety also these kind of symptoms are common. Kindly consult a psychiatrist and get an opinion, with the blood investigation/ chest x ray and other tests done till now. All the best.

I have wheezing due dust allergy I take formost 200 rc-----> 1-0-1 last week I had breathlessness Dr. gave claribid 500 mg for 5 days for lung infection after seeing x ray for 3 days ivpred 32 mg given spirodin 650 mg 1-0-0---- for 5 days still breathlessness is there, medicine works for 8 hrs only.

as per you your father may be a case of asthama or COPD or any other respiratory comorbidity.
Dear as a doctor advised you to take duolin nebulisation. Kindly continue with that only. If symptoms persists, followup privately, some medicines ll b added thn.

I am 64 years suffering from bronchitis asthma more than 6-7 years. First used to take tiomate inhaler and tablets as per chest specialist advise. Suddenly it was serious and at present taking rotacaps in inhaler. Asthaline -200 and beclate -400 caps daily. With other tablets. Doctor advised to wash mouth after taking caps, which I am not regular. But stops tablet taking when gas develops. Whenever taking eggs, milk and cold things it increases little. But my voice getting disturbed. Please advice

Health Query

Dear Doctor, I have been suffering for the past 8 months with a cough and wheezing especially while lying down. One Physician asked me to have a Chest X-ray. Result was chest seemed clear- ? bronchitis. Have tried allopathy medications, antibiotics, ayurvedic medicines but with no relief. I recently had a Spirometry test done that too was normal. The doctor suggested Cipla Foracort 200 rotacaps with revolizer 1-0-0 x 15 days. I did get some relief as long as I was on the capsules on the 18th day the symptoms recurred. I am a 68 year old female. Never had this before. I do not have asthma, no h/o asthma in my family. No Diabetes or Hypertension either. Would appreciate your opinion and advice. Many thanks.
