I am a male 74 years suffering from copd for 3 years. Neb duolin ,levolin, foracort .5 mg, loft air all taken with 2 /3 hours gap through nebulizer .predmet 4 mg 1-0-1, cilacar 5 mg 0-0-1 montek lc 0-0-1 to day Dr. hs given deriphyllin retard 150 mg 0-1-0 .without neb I am not bale to breath properly. For 2 hours I am ok I can drive car climb stairs etc but again neb is to be used. Under this condition deriphyllin retard 50 g is it necessary?

If with all these measures you do not get adequate relief then deriphyllin retard 150 may be added at night after dinner.

Take symptomatic treatment and few tips for asthma-- avoid any triggering factor, take folic acid regularly, eat a healthy diet, always be stress free, exercise regularly.

DuolinLD respules need to be taken during nebulisation without mixing it with water and not to be used for external steam purposes

Tiova once daily since its action lasts for 24hrs

Foracort twice daily

Duolin when symptoms occur. Itâs action lasts for 4-6 hours only Therefore 4 times daily

Just wanted to know which malignancy he has.
However you can meet the physician nearby and can consider any cough syrup post xray.
If he is on chemo then rule out any pneumonia.

Is it a must to take Duolin (by nebulization) every tie I take Budecort (also by nebulization). Duolin causes some trembling for some time. I have been taking these for the last four days for very bad cough (very little phlegm) and some wheezing. Of course on third and fourth days I am coughing out small portions of fairly hard phlegm. Thank you.

If you are on budecort and symptom free you need not take the levolin or duolin as it has the side effect of trembling

I had suffered from high fever 2 weeks back and bronchopneumonia. I have taken nebulization of duolin and beudocart. Also now I have taken unicontin E 400 and duolin inhaler. But still something getting stuck in my chest and throat. Why?

The feeling of something stuck is due to the inhalation therapy and you need to check up if you have fungal infection in the throat or chest . Otherwise you have nothing to worry

Ideally expectorants are not used for infants but still if you are using then dose is 5ml 8 to 12 hourly as per levosalbutamol which is not easy to give.

I am a 30 year old man. I am suffering from mitral valve prolapse and mild regurgitation. You take propranolol 40 mg to treat my anxiety symptoms, shortness of breath, dizziness etc. The problem is that I have hiatal hernia in stomach also. I am facing severe shortness of breath from last 2 days and after every 2 seconds I feel" air hunger" and lack of oxygen. I'm taking long breaths from abdomen and this puts a tension or effort in my stomach muscles. Now, I took duolin levosalbutamol nebulizer solution but still not much relief. Now, please let me, what should I do? Will my propranolol interact with levosalbutamol?

People with mvps and Mr. have commonly anxiety and you might need an ssri for the same. Consulting a psychiatrist would surely help, rather than taking propanolol alone. All th best.
