You should take some stool softening medicine like Haritaki Churna/ Sushruta Churna in night with warm water so that bowel movement is comfortable. Take SItz bath (Hot water tub bath) after bowel movement and repeat for 2-3 times a day followed by application of Sushruta ointment and Lekhan powder in anal canal. Passing hard stools may cause anal fissure that is small cut in anal skin, which leads to burning or itching and blood in stools. To avoid constipation drink plenty of water 3-4liters / day, take high fiber diet and do physical activity. To treat constipation, you have to take laxatives till fissure heals.
