better to take unwanted 72 within 72 hrs... best will b within 24 hrs of unprotected sex.. If not taken within 72 hrs, then u can take my or other online consultation.

If started this cycle only then not safe but if taking from last or earlier cycle regularly then safe.

It is contraceptive pill as well. In addition I would advise you to use condom because it will prevent you from any sexually transmitted diseases. Its better to have safe sex.

Better use condoms to prevent pregnancy.

My wife is facing some issues, 1. No period are coming since 5 month, we checked from doctor. Doctor suggest some tests, 1. Thyroid - Normal, 2. TSH- 1.830, 3. HB- 09.8 4. S. Protactinium - 8.87 5. Only after completing Yamini LS she will get withdrawal bleeding after few days of stopping the tablet.Please wait and see.If not getting periods for two weeks after stopping the medicine consult your doctor again

Hello dr, I have taken 15 tablets of lupin's yamini ls tablet for 15 days then I stopped remaining 9 tablets for some health issues. On 19 day of tablet I did unprotected sex and taken unwanted 72 tablet within 12 hours. But again I accidentally did unprotected sex within 96 hours of taking unwanted 72 tablet and started to take crina ncr 10 mg for 5 days upto 29sep. I got my withdrawal bleeding on 3 oct .after it I got my period like bleeding on 3 nov but light on first day but red blood after 3 nov and slow blood flow for 4/ 5 days with mild lower abdomen pain. I want to just know is it period bleeding or ovulation bleeding?

It is withdrawal bleeding. It is better to take 21 days pill instead of indiscriminate use of unwanted 72.

Crisanta is an oral contraceptive pill ,it has to be taken Regularly for 21 days from 1st day of cycle it is not an emergency contraceptive emergency contraceptive are taken within 72 hrs of unprotected intercourse (I-pill)

Take the forgotten tablet right away, and take the usual tablet as per schedule. Missing 1 combined pill does not cause pregnancy. Missing more than one, especially in the middle of the cycle, or early in the cycle, can affect you pregnancy chances.

if your wife started taking tab Yamini from first day of cycle then you don't need any extra contraceptive method ,the pills will be fully effective .
if she started taking on 5 th day of cycle then in this cycle you will need an extra contraceptive method like condoms .
from subsequent cycles will be fully effective ,will not need any extra precautions
