You should not take these 2 antibiotics together and not need to take 2 oral antibiotics together in acne treatment. You can take one antibiotic in cream form and other can take oral tablets and for oily skin you should apply tretinoin/adapalene cream/gel. But you should take all these under doctors guidance because doctor will decide what type acne you have, what severity, what drug and what duration are best for you.

Treatment depends on the grade. Acne or pimples. Due to hormonal changes. Oily skin causes it. Common in adolescent age. May occur in adults also. Food like oily foods, ice cream, chocolate and sweets increase it. Treatment depends on the grade of pimples or acne. So, please send photos by direct online consultation as it's a must to see which grade of pimples or acne for accurate diagnosis and treatment.

Gd evening everyone, here i'm writing this msg for the purpose of seeking advice from all of you regarding a prob that I have been facing since 2017. Actually I have been having a repetitive case of uti since 2017. I have seen many renowned doctors in kolkata particularly in forte, apollo and medica but they could not manage to treat my problem. First time it was mrsa doctor prescribed me with doxycycline which I took for almost a month. The symptoms went away but after 4-5 months it reappeared again. Since that time it's been coming at an interval of 5-6 months. From 2019 onwards the root cause has been e.coli.i have tried doxy, nitrofurantoin, linezolid, bactrim, levo as of now but whenever I take medications the symptoms go away then again reappears after 4 to 5 months. In oct 2021 I got an urs done to check what actually has happened inside but doctor didn't find anything. The most surprising thing is that urine culture doesn't come positive all the time but still the symptoms are present and creatinine level is 1 or sometimes 1.1 nd others blood reports are also normal. Now a days i'm experiencing a pain in my groin areas and back. I think now this untreated infection has led to pyelonephritis don't know what I should do right now. If doctors from forte, apollo can't even treat the prob then whom should I go to with this case? please give me some suggestions to get rid of this permanently.

To rule out the problem get an ultrasound abdomen pelvis and also ct abdo as you have this persistent problem. Refer to a nearby urologist after the reports.

Hi, My wife is 8 days late for her period. During ovulation she was under treatment for Acne and was prescribed Doxy 1, 2 tablets per day. After missing her period she has not been well, body temperature looks above normal. She sometimes feels nauseous specially after having food, lightheaded sometimes which have increased in frequency. What is worry is that she is sometimes having sharp pain in the right side of the abdomen. Which comes and goes and is more like throbbing pain. She had undergone USG on 11.11.17 and reports were normal. Blood test for T3, T4, FSH, LH, Prolactin, DHEAS was also normal. We have done 2 home pregnancy tests on 7/12/17 and 11.12.17 both came negative. All other symptoms indicate pregnancy but the tests are coming negative. Also if this is a case of pregnancy will it be safe to continue with it as she was conceived when she was having high does of Doxycycline? What is happening with her? Consulted a local Gynecologist who asked to wait for few days and again test for pregnancy. She has gained around 5-6 kgs in the last month. She is also having a white / colorless vaginal discharge for the past few days and this has increased from the last 12 hours. The color has changed from colorless to light yellowish. Can this be any kind of infection?

It's a sign of pelvic infection
and to add to it side effects of doxycycline to rule out pregnancy better get beta hcg done and a urine routine with culture along with vaginal swab test to see reason of infection and yellow discharge. Based on these results sensitive antibiotics course will be given
sometimes if patient is resistant may need injectable medicines
worst situation if all tests come normal then only way to know cause and treat it is by doing Laparoscopy (key hole surgery...more

Hi Mr. lybrate-user, As you have been administered Doxy the bacterial infection should have healed provided the dosage was right! You can send me pics of the region Probably it might be some sort of fungal infection or dryness owing to soap usage etc. As you have been exposing yourself to CSWs fungal infection too should be ruled out. I would like to see the lesions before any further comments. For more details do consult me online.

The treatment of acne differs according to the grade of involvement. Some people have more oilyness on the face which results in breakouts. After completing treatment for controlling the active breakouts, tablets can be stopped and creams need to be continued to prevent recurrence. Diet and lifestyle modifications are also important. Please don't do any self treatment such as over the counter Steroid creams. Don't burst the pimples with your fingers as it can result in ugly scars. The marks and ...more

Fungus may be Candida albicans or dermatophytes or both. Moreover when fungus is in vagina or vulva or on glans & prepuce, you may also have trichinosis as well as infection with several low virulent bacteria like Ureaplasma urealyticum. Fungus is a plant and grows rapidly in hor humid environment. So it is more in raining season. If sweating occurs frequently, it again rapidly grows. If he has wetness in prepuce or she has wetness in her vagina due to overstimulation or due to any reason, again...more
