Dear,
There are many drugs available for management of prostate cancer. It is mostly hormone sensitive and is treated by androgen deprivation for which there are many drugs. If these do not work then chemotherapeutic drugs which you are mentioning are tried. Every doctor has his own view. So follow the doctor who is an Established Oncologist.

It may be because of some trauma.
Whatever the reason, treatment remains same. You need to use ring cushion. Avoid sitting on hard surface. Follow this for 1 year. Don't even try to see if you still have pain or not till then.

It is coccydynia most probably where the tail bone (Coccyx) can give pain due to Misalignment most commonly or inflammation or any infection etc.
