About Dolokind Plus Tablet

Dolokind Plus Tablet is meant to be taken orally and is available in the form of a tablet with varying strengths. This pill falls under the category of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID) and is used to treat rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis and ankylosing spondylitis.

The tablet basically blocks the function of an essential enzyme known as cyclooxygenase (COX), which is responsible for making a chemical known as prostaglandins at the site of an injury leading to swelling, inflammation and pain. Thus, this tablet works as a good treatment for pain and inflammation.

The medicine is not safe for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. It is also not appropriate for children to take.

Dolokind Plus can increase the risk of ulcers and internal bleeding if taken with alcohol, which is why you must avoid the same at all costs. It can also lead to some mild side effects like constipation, diarrhoea, nausea and abdominal pain.

When taken correctly, this pill can take anywhere between 1.5 – 3 hours to provide you with relief from your symptoms. You must always follow the dosage prescribed by your doctor. This is because it can be very dangerous to overdose on this medication.
