Hello Doctor, this is the current situation of my dad. He has got a kind of skin disease which has spread in his hands and fingers which according to different dermatologists it can be psoriasis, eczema, or dermatitis. The symptoms are as the following: water blisters, very itchy skin, scaly and swollen fingers, skin that bleeds, cracks, is painful, red and crusty. Most of the doctors ask him if he uses detergents or solvents frequently which is a clear "no! the doctors have prescribed him lots of ointments such as lippu ointment, verdura intense moisturizing lotion, dermalibourrepairing cream, dermovate,777 oil which has to apply and place his hands in the sun for 5 minutes, psorolina medicated bathing bar to wash his hands, bioderma, beclomin ointment, candiderma ointment and finally anti bio tics pills. None have been helpful and effective. My dad is still suffering and it's becoming really painful. This has been the case for 4 years, sometimes the disease calms down and go away but then it comes back. I really need the proper and right information about that disease and its cure. Thanking you in advance.

Whether he is having psoriasis dermatitis or eczema all these 3 diseases are treatbale. If he is not controlled in topicals and otherwise with no other medical problems he can be put on systemic treatment. The disease require regular treatment and follow up.

Put some waxolytic solvents in the ears this will dissolve the wax if you put this nearly 10-12 time per day, if wax comes out by itself than fine otherwise get it clean from ear consultant and remember you should not try it by yourself.

Don't try to remove a build-up of earwax yourself with your fingers, a cotton bud or any other object.
Ear drops to be used for few days to soften the earwax so that it falls out by itself.
If still no relief then ear irrigation to be done by ENT doctor.
Hope this answer helps u

Hi lybrate-user, please take a painkiller/anti inflammatory tablet. Otogesic is usually given as a wax solvent. If the pain doesnt reduce, consult an ENT Doctor locally.

Don't worry if you need to remove your nail paint and the nail polish remover is not available. Use perfumes, hair spray, body spray, and spray deodorant to remove the nail polish easily as they contain certain solvents which help in the process.
