tab progesterone is given to support pregnancy .it does not cause abortion.

gestofit 200 is a progestational hormone medicine , this is not used as contraceptive pill

this medicine is used by people who are either planning to conceive nd require progesterone supplementation OR during pregnancy
Do not self medicate yourself , take medicine according to doctors prescription because the dosage and the days on which it is taken may vary according to the indication for which it is taken

Hi Dr. I am pregnant on 22 .my thyroid is 9.10.progesterone is 19.5 .dr gave me thyroid thyronorm 100 mg phele 50 mg thi. N gestofit 300. N one injection weekly. There is chances of miscarriage become 4 month back I already have miscarriage through projestone is 3 only daat time. I feel hips n back thies cramps .lil heaviness is this normal aur sign of mmiscarege .my feet also burn .ya duphaston n gestofit ki vajah se ye sab feel ho raha hai please help me.

M 27 years old married woman with pcod. M currently on cystop m tablet. Taking nidagen sr 300 on 24 to 28 days every menstrual cycle. I had nidagen on 26 feb till 2 mar. I got my period on 7 march n stopped on the 11 th march. Bleeding was quite less this time n bleeding was stopped but I some brownish discharge was there. But again m bleeding from yesterday 14 march. Is it normal to bleed like dis after 9 days. Will it stop or I need to consult my doc.

If you concieve pregnancy test can become positive on 29th or 30th day. So do urine pregnancy test and stop taking progesterone if negative.

She must have prescribed you this tab so that the foetus is sustained as you might be having either repeated abortions or there could be some vulnerability to loose the pregnancy so it's advisable to continue with the treatment.

Hello Doctor, My wife is 8 weeks pregnant and gynecologist prescribed Strone 200 for vaginal intake. My wife finds it difficult to insert the soft gel vaginally. Please let me know if the gel can be taken orally or is there any other alternative progesterone tablet which can be taken orally.
