Hi. Bipolar disorder has a relapsing remitting course. Every individual is different so frequency of mood episodes are also different in every individual. Medicines both terminate the mood episode as welll as it prevent the further recurrence. Keep in touch with your doctor he will adjust your medicines as per your status.

Tremors are a significant side effect of the medications and I believe that you will do well with taking the higher dose since you have not had a recurrent of epilepsy.
