The treatment of lichen planus needs to managed on patient to patient basis. The treatment of lichen planus depends on multiple factors like- severity of disease, progressive or not, involvement of oral cavity, nail or scalp. Again, response to treatment varies from person to person, according to which the treatment can be adjusted or stepped up. If the creams are not working, discuss the possibility of adding oral medications with the treating dermatologist.

Tenovate is a strong topical steroid. Please don't use it without proper medical advice, it will lead to a lot of side effects like boils which you are currently facing. I would recommend you to either share your clinical pictures here or show to a qualified dermatologist near you for proper treatment.

I understood the severity of the c/o. Which effects your son's confidence levels. Rt now what he is taking itself shows the intensity. I suggest dont stop at a time all those medicines, but parallelly you can try homeopathy from an expert. N gradually based on imprvmnt those rx could b reduced dosage n potency wise. The dark discolouration all r the side effects of the present creams etc.

The skin can lose its glow and get dull and discoloured. Sun exposure, Chloasma, freckles and scars due to acne are just a few reasons. Although not a life-threatening issue, people with dull and darkened facial skin usually consider it a life-altering one, leading to feelings of inadequacy and decreased self-confidence.
For you complaint use Psorinum 200 is ahomeopathic medicine.
