Generally speaking: 4th generation -- conclusive after 4 weeks (some say at 6).
3rd generation -- conclusive after 8 weeks (some would say 6+ weeks)
2nd generation -- conclusive after 10 - 12 weeks. The tests that could be deemed conclusive are 3rd generation tests and certainly 4th generation tests at 8 weeks. A 3rd generation test for the most part has to be done by a lab. All fda approved rapid tests are either 2nd generation tests or perform like 2nd generation tests in actual practi...more

Follow your doctor's advice, it is fine. He has appropriately given pentavac at 6 wks and quadrovax at 10 weeks. Difference is because of hepatitis b. It is to be given at birth, 1, 6 months. So your doctor has given 2nd dose of hep b at 6weeks (pentavac contains hep b). At 10 weeks hep b was not given as per schedule (quadrovax doesn't contain hep b) rotateq ok if earlier one not available.

The main cause of getting infected from hiv is unprotected sex.
Hiv is a virus that lives in human blood, sexual fluids, and breast milk. It weakens your immune system, so your body has a hard time fighting off common germs, viruses, fungi, and other invaders. Hiv doesn't live in saliva, tears, pee, or sweat -- so it can't be spread by casual contact with these body fluids.
If still in doubt, connect with me via call for right consultation.
