To identify the organism causing the infection, you will have to give a urine sample for culture. If the infection has lasted for 6 years that means it is probably resistant to a lot of antibiotics. It is better to get your gynaecologist to have a physical examination so they can rule out any other infection. You have been experimenting with so so many medicines for your fungal infection, most of which are not even antifungal... & even some are strong steroids with many adverse effects.

My dear friend, of course it is safe drug. You should continue. With this medicine you have to give some more medicine. Zinc 2.5 ml once a day. Some probiotics oral solutions 1/2 two times a day. Yes. Darker color urine is one of the known side effects of metronidazole. However if symptoms doesn't subside on stopping the medication, you need to get evaluated further.

You have to stop all chemical cosmetics and try as below
consume fresh fruits and juices like carrot, grapes, anar etc. Coconut water in early morning and during day time. Milk with adding haldi powder 3 gm daily in later morning. No curd, non-veg, fried items, day sleep.

Antibiotics are not recommended for changes in stool consistency, especially for such a young baby. If the baby is passing adequate urine, feeding well and has good activity, no blood in urine. Antibiotics are not advisable. Breastfeeding has to be given more frequently.
