I had laparoscopy on 26 th december 2018 because of chocolate cyst, but the doctor said they can't remove the cyst as the cyst situated on intestine. After the surgery the doctor prescribe dienogest tablets 2 mg energy for 3 months. Withing 3 months can I get pregnant? Now 10 th january 2019 I feel pain on nipples. Is it side effect of using this medicine?

No you cannot get pregnant as dienogest is just like contraception pills. And yes painful breast is its side effect.

Hello doctors, I am 34 years. Last year in Sept 2017 I was diagnosed with bilateral ovarian cyst (endometriosis) for which my doctor gave some medicine like Endofine and Dino first (dienogest) And after that I went for laparoscopic surgery and got the cysts removed. After which doctor prescribed to take digest for 3 months. Now after completion of 3 months I have stopped taking digest. It has been 15-16 days my periods have not started yet. When will it began. Please answer as I am very tensed.

I am 38 years old suffering from complex ovarian cyst 3.5 cm. My Dr. put me in novelon for as long as I can take. Is it safe to continue novelon for longer period? What are the side effects of long term use. Any other pill you can recommend for long term use. I don't want myself to put on marina or digest as I have lot of side effects after taking dienogest tablet. M doing ultrasound in every 3 months.

Side effects include rarely clotting or hepatocellular adenoma or gallstones. You can take it till you are 40 then it can be decided about low dose ocps.

Madam / sir, I am suffering from endometrial cyst. My cyst size is 4.5 * 4.3.i am unmarried and I am 26 years old. I was taking ovral l but it was not stopping my bleeding. Then, according to the doctor's prescription, I took dienogest and ethinylestradiol tablets and stopped bleeding. But light water is coming out of my vagina and light abdominal pain. Is it normal? Please give advice.

Hi! I have been diagnosed with an intramural uterine fibroid and ovarian cyst, and was prescribed dienogest 2 mg and mifepristone 25 mg daily. I have been taking them since 3 november, my last period was 7-10 november and then it has stopped completely. No spotting either. Is that a good treatment, can they be taken together because one is progestin and one is anti-progesterone. Do these reduce the chances of pregnancy?

Hi i'm 24 years old girl. I have done laparoscopic surgery for 8 cm right side ovarian cyst 6 months before. Now i'm taking dinofirst 2 mg tablet 2 per day from october 8 2018. Now I taken 2 scan first one is 12 december 2018 it shows 2 cm cyst on right side and endometrium thickness is 8 mm. Another scan is april 3 2019 no cyst on right side and left ovary is not showed. And one thing minimal fluid within endometrium cavity and endometrium thickness is 3 mm. This is normal or anything wrong. Right side pain in lower side. How to cure fluid and what is the cause?

You have no cyst and you are cured as the report says, the fluid in pod is normal fluid collection and you need a check up.

Hi, 7 weeks post my Myomectomy, I got this TVS ultrasound done yesterday and it revealed a 3 cm endometrial ovarian cyst and a 1.4 cm subserosa fibroid (fundus). I am experiencing lower abdomen discomfort as well after this TVS ultrasound. I had this Myomectomy to remove three fibroids (15 cm, 5 cm and a seedling, all subserosa), got few endometrial cysts drained and endometriosis excision. And still I have fibroid and cyst left. I am on Endoreg 2 mg pills as well since 1.5 months. I am visiting my surgeon on Monday but I am too stressed to wait for another 2 days. Can anyone please advise.

It is rare, but you can get an infection after the myomectomy procedure. If this happens, you will be given antibiotics. It is fairly common to get a fever after myomectomy, but this has more to do with tissue changes than with infection usually. Take some analgesic like flexon/brufane or any with the telephonic advice of your GYNAE surgeon!

I am 25 years old and have been suffering from endometriosis cyst in left ovary. I have taken endoreg for 6 months twice. It is the best medicine which gives relief from pain and other symptoms of cyst. But only effective while you are taking it. After completing its course, I experience severe pain in my left body followed by vomiting And weakness. I'm extremely worried .Isn't there any medicine or cure which can minimize the symptoms. There is neither any change in the size of cyst even after taking dozen of medicines nor any improvement in quality of my health.

Thank you for answering doctor. Please also tell me whether I should take it continuously to create temporary menopause or I should give breaks after every 21 days.(i have endometriosis for last 5 years in right ovary. Got it removed once in 2017 but it came back again. I have two kids 6 years and 1 year old. Earlier I was being treated with destrogen (ocp) and endoreg taking both cont. For 6 months creating a temporary menopause and it was really effective. But now after my delivery last year cyst showed up again and it hurts really bad. No I have consulted another Dr. She suggested freedase but with stopping in between for periods to come. Is this gonna help reduce the cyst if periods keeps on coming every month?

it is a 21 day pill you need to you definitely have a gap between your period which means you need to take from day 5 of your period till date 25 and then wait will get your periods and then again start from day 5 to day 25
