You must always ask for the diagnosis and find out what you are being treated for. If the doctor is not willing to share it with you, at least s/he can share it with the person who was accompanying you. You are being treated for a serious condition and must be enjoined with therapy too. If you are cooperative, you can lead a normal life and can live with your wife too. Dear lybrate-user,
certain types of depression like recurrent or bipolar, need long term mood stabiliser like dicorate. It should not be stopped. Things are under control only because your mood is stable these days with dicorate. Please discuss with your psychiatrist about your diagnosis and also the bad effects of stopping. However you can reduce and stop lonazep since it is not for long term use.

Dear lybrate-user, bipolar disorder causes serious problems in your life. Whereas sexual problems can be discussed and adjusted with your partner. Please give a thought to it.
Sexual problems can be due to diabetes either partially or fully. Discuss with your physician about it.
There are no medicine without side effect. You have to weigh the effect vs side effect. Divaa is not an addicting medicine. You need to take it for your life just like diabetes and thyroid medicines.

Regular intake of medicine and regular follow up with your psychiatrist always helps. I think whatever question is coming in mind regarding health or medicine issues ,need to write it down on paper so whenever you will have follow up with your doctor it's easy to discuss all the points with your psychiatrist and it will be helpful ...more

Your son has epilepsy and them medicines may have to be given lifelong. He is on correct medicines and if you could upload the reports to me privately, it would be easier to comment.
