I have gone through the details given. Usually when diabetes goes on for many years, there is a tendancy to have reduced glucose control, resulting in increased HbA1c%. Hence, some additional treatment is required. Depending upon the severity of the situation or glucose levels, drugs can be selected. There is no need to stop the earlier drug, only addition can be done. Thanks.

It is very difficult to give a clear answer why it happened. But it appears the earlier treatment of giving two sulfonylureas (SU) together was a wrong approach. Alone medicine, creams etc won't work permanently
Wake up early go for morning walk in greenery daily with relaxed mind
Do pranayam and yoga daily
Do facial exercises daily
Take carrots and beet root juice daily
Take salads, vegetable juices, soups more
