Dear sir, you diabetes is admirably under control. Do not reduve the medication you are already taking. Rather keep doing what you are doing already. Exercise daily, keep good dietary habits and monitor your sugar levels and hba1c regularly.

It is safe. The new medicine does not cause low sugar levels but it potentiates the effect of the other medicine. Hence, you should be careful to avoid low sugar levels.
