the use of steroids in mild covid cases is not advised... it is used only when you are having very high grade temperature and worsening cough

I have a 3.5 mm right side mid calyx kidney stone and I am suffering from right side pain. The urologist yesterday prescribed me stone 1b6 syrup, nafodil 50 tablet (naftopidil 50) and deflazacort 6 mg tablet. I just found out that deflazacort 6 mg is a steroid and it affects the immunity. I am worried my immunity might get decreased and I have not taken covid vaccine till now. Also I read steroids should not be taken by a person who is planning to take a vaccine. So kindly please advise what to do? Shall I take deflazacort 6 mg or not?

I will personally suggest not to take deflazacort beacuse you seem to much worried about low dose weak steroid but for that I need to see your detail sonography report
why you are prescribed steroid at all please contact for further query.

I am infected by fungal infection and doctor prescribed me following:- Gris OD Deflazacort Ifen 500 But when I searched on internet none of the above except cream seems curing fungal infection. please advise what to do!

Hi. I have given my baby mmr+opv vaccine on saturday and from sunday morning I was on medrol 16 mg which is a steroid for 3 days ime till tuesday. Is there any chance of me getting infected as I was in close contact with my baby. I heard that when we are on medrol we shouldn't come in contact with mmr+opv vaccinated person's.but I was in close contact with my baby. I am asking about me getting infected and not baby. And how can I know if I got infected. please reply .tia. I have stopped medrol after 3 days.

you can apply baking soda or do baking soda in water mouth rinses. This will help to heal your ulcers. If they still persist, you need to consult a physician and get your vitamin B levels checked. If required, you can take supplements for it.
