Please do salt water gargling thrice a day and drink hot liquids like turmeric/ginger tea. If possible buy strepsils and betadine gargle solution from the pharmacy. If you develop dry cough, take benadryl (dextromethorphan) cough syrup twice a day, morning and night.

2.take honey and lemon mixed with hot water
3.Have warm tea, soup
4.take adequate rest, drink plenty of water, have good nourishing diet
4.avoid over the counter cough syrup containing codeine, dextromethorphan and antibiotic without consulting Gynecologist

Reduce caffeine. While some headache medications include caffeine because it can be beneficial in reducing headache pain, it can also aggravate headaches.
