-deriphyllin od 300 means one tablet once a day & its effect remains only for a few hours whereas the retard tablet releases the the medicine slowly & it's effect can last for even 24 hours.

Budamate and esiflo have same class of medicine. So both are same approximately. In excebation you should take short acting like duolin inhaler.

Hello.
Since she is having a cough for near about 3 weeks, it's important that apart from the remedies you are trying she takes a course of antibiotic (preferably azithromycin).
If still it doesn't resolved than do take an opinion of a pulmonologist.

You can use deriphyllin retard. More specific treatment is ics+ laba (foracort or budamate) inhalation over 12 weeks. Azithromycin 500 mg od for 5 days. Prior to use of foracort spirometry should be done, and if the results shows reversibility, you should proceed with ics+laba inhalation.
