You need to ask this from your attending physician. As he knows details of your case. In addition do this
1. Do saline gargles daily.
2. Whenever possible do steam inhalation also.
3. Cover your nose and mouth with hanky for at least 30 sec when you go in dusty areas also when you go in and out of AC. As our nose is the most sensitive part of our body, When there is temperature difference between two rooms or inside n outside, then if we not protect our nose, it gets affected.

There are many causes for persistent dry cough. Since your mother has been having it for a month I would suggest to consult a pulmonologist and get investigated. A chest x ray and blood investigations may be required if the doctor who checks her suggests.

Yes. If she has fever, she can take dolo 650 mg, 3 times a day, after the meal.
You can let her have a gap of 20 to 30 minutes between deriphyllin retard and dolo.
If this fever is due to vaccination (that is within a few days of a dose), she can take dolo as long as she is having fever and bodyache etc.
But if she hasn't completed vaccination, or its less than 7-8 weeks after the second dose, and if she is having symptoms like, bodyache, breathlessness, sore throat, loss of taste an...more

If you take it blindly without knowing the cause of wheeze, I will say a big "no" please check up with pulmonologist to find out the cause. If any obstructive pulmonary disease is present, then it will help. Still it is not first line therapy, but add on therapy.

Deriphyllin is not recommended for asthma and allergy.
Treatment for asthma and allergy are inhalers, anti-allergy tablets.
You will need a lung function test, chest xray, ige and cbc level following which your inhaler dose and tablets can be decided.
