Dear lybrate-user
OCD is very unlikely to respond to ashvagandha.
Though ashvagandha may have some really good other uses, it's unlikely to help for OCD.
You need a psychiatrist to consider fluvoxamine or clomipramine for yourself or something else.

Hi, ocd is frequently difficult to treat. It frequently requires augmentation and use of high doses. Behaviour therapy is a good mode of treatment to be used alongside medicines. Fluvoxamine could be augmented with memantine or low dose risperidone or clomipramine if the body tolerates. Take care. Consult privately for more help.

Hello, normally ocd needs a higher dose of medicines than that are used normally for depression, for example, with escitalopram, it needs 20 mg. Fluoxetine between 80-120 mg or fluvoxamine 100-200 mg is effective also.
Some people who do not respond to a single medicine, for them, the dose can be augmented with a low dose atypical antipsychotic or with a low dose mood stabilizer, or sometimes with addition of a tca like clomipramine to the ssri.
Also try undergoing a few sessions of cbt ...more

Hi
Premature Ejaculation is a very common condition which has various causes including
stress
medical condition
lack of adequate foreplay
low testosterone level
So you should consult psychiatrist sexologist to find it out.
Start and Stop technique, hold technique may help you in controlling Ejaculation.
Sometimes drugs like depoxetin or clomipramine may help. But it should be taken only after consultant advice.

Antidepressant medications such as Paxil (paroxetine) and Anafranil (clomipramine) that target the serotonin system are also effective in treating OCD, it has been suggested that St. John's Wort could be an alternative therapy for reducing OCD symptoms.
