Get your serum sodium and potassium level tested. Consult your psychiatrist about possibility of initiating psychotherapy with psychologist. That would help your symptoms and might help to decrease medicine dosage to some extent eventually. Causing relief from the symptoms you have narrated.

Hi,
clomipramine is known to cause dry mouth, drowsiness and sexual dysfunction. Clonazepam might be having an additive effect on drowsiness. You should discuss with your psychiatrist to consider decreasing the dose of clomipramine and gradually tapering off clonazepam, it might help, if it doesn't then you will have to stop clomipramine.

Dear Lybrate-User,
None of the tablets that you have mentioned cause memory problems. But due to ocd itself memory lapses will be there. As you improve with ocd, you will fill your thoughts with things happening around you, so that recent memory improves. Please give an example of emotional connectivity with memories.

I hope your visits to the psychiatrist were regular and the medication has been frequently reviewed during these years. You need to be occupied, and fit into a routine of interesting activities every day. Whatever the situation you must be responsible, respectful and functional. Yoga and meditation is also necessary to train your brain ...more

Hello arun, it would have been much better if you combine medication along with cognitive behaviour therapy and exposure and response prevention. You may consult your psychiatrist for some better anti obsessional drugs such as fluvoxamine along with clomipramine. But you should also work out personal plan such as to engage yourself in some other activities instead of following your obsessional thoughts. Your obsessional drive is result of continuous habit processes learnt over a long period of t...more
