Don't use depopred much. Just give rest to the area. Cold compresses thrice a day. Wear a thumb spica splint. And take tab nocoxia 60 mg once a day for one week.

Now in ipf/fibrotic, nacfil is not of much use. Prefinax 1800mg in devided doses is prefered drug now. Medicine life long. Not curable. No remission if ipf.

Firstly, You need to know that medrol is a steroid and steroids are medicines with lots of side-effects.
