For a while forget about regular periods during breast feeding. Take thyroid pills regularly and get thyroid profile checked every6 weeks.

If you cannot take daily pills you can take once weekly pill like Saheli or once in three months injection of depo provera .If you have already had a child you can safely put intrauterine device which is safe for 5 years

Your periods may not come for 2-3 months since you are breastfeeding and injection also delays period. Can not tell for sure wen exactly periods will come.
