My Mother is being having persistent cough from more than 3 months. It is more of dry cough that occurs sometimes and during sleeping at night. She is diabetic and BP patient. She has no fever or fatigue. She has a recent like 2 months ago stent procedure for RCA Artery in forties Hospital. She takes ramipril 10 mg, cardivas 6.25 mg, ecosprin 150 mg, clopidogrel 75 mg, thryoxin 100 mg and Insulin daily. She has done Chest X-Ray which doctor says is normal.

Hi, I am now 77 years old. I got pacemaker in year 2001 & subsequently 2 times stents were applied. I am taking ceruvin a75 (clopidogrel) one tablet daily since 2001. Earlier it was manufactured by m/s. Ranbaxy laboratories. Which has now taken over by m/s. Sun pharmaceuticals ltd. For last 6 months, I have problem with my voice. It has become very feeble low. Please suggest what is the better alternative.

You have pharyngitis and is not due to the medicines you take. You take a warm saline gargin and if no results found you take an ent check up.

My mother aged 65, taking medications for diabetes (gemer 1), cholesterol (atorvastatin), also clopidogrel as she had 2 clots in brain on mri scanning. Her blood pressure would be 145/75 with 75 heart rate. While stepping and walking, she is having a slight pain under the middle, fourth & little toe of the left foot. Also, slight swelling above those toes compared to right foot. Kindly suggest what to be done.

Coronary artery disease (cad) in a diabetic patient definitely need to be followed meticulously. Rosuvas and clopidogrel is rightly prescribed.
I am sure your diabetic medicines are also able to keep your sugar control.
Wanna ask you how was your coronary artery disease diagnosed?(any past history of heart attack/angiogram/stents)

Dr. I have been diagnosed with grade 1 fatty liver (nash) non alcoholic fatty liver. Lft says sr. bilirubin direct is 0.4, sgot is 42 and sgpt is 41. If lft is normal you don't have to take any medicines for fattyy liver. Losing weight is required if you are obese. Liv 52 is a drug constitution of which is not much known. I don't recmmend it for you.. Especially when you don't need any treatment

Is there any history of recent injury or abnormal loading on left foot, there is possibility of either stress fracture or some diabetic complications? Infection.
She requires a x-ray and basic blood investigation to confirm either of them.

Health Query

I was suffering from hypertension and irregular heart beats 7 years before. Certain hypertension medicines+aspirin were prescribed to me. After 4 years of usage hypersensitivity against aspirin started to occur to me. Aspirin had been substituted with clopidogrel 75 mg. I am still continuing to use it. I learned that this medicine shouldn't be used forever. Will I stop using it without consulting the specialized doctor which is difficult to meet it in my country?

Aspirin need to be used to prevent blood clotting especially those who have irregular heart beats and in such cases there is no harm in using aspirin.

I had undergone angioplasty a year ago. Clopidogrel 75 mg is prescribed to time blood. I was already allergic to wet weather and clopidogrel had increased the allergy. I was itching terribly and my back was covered with blood stains from scratching. It is now kept under control by an expensive lotion (Rs. 900+ for 200 ml) containing phytosterols. Another problem is insomnia. Etizola and solopos (0.25 and 0.5 mg) were ineffective. I keep awake throughout the night sleeping early morning for 3+ hours. Sometimes additional avil (6 mg or one fourth of a tablet) helps. Immediately after breakfast (whole wheat bread) I sleep for 3 or 4+ hours making up the lost sleep. It looks as if day and night had been interchanged. Any suggestion? I shall take it up with my cardiologist before using the drugs. You would be immunized against consequences.

Please post list of all your present medicines. Sleep problems are sometimes due to metoprolol. Dry skin increases scratching, reduce use of soap and towel, rub body lotion or cold cream or coconut oil on wet skin after bathing.

Doctor, I am 53 years HAVING DM sine 20 years and HTN 10 years on rx. For DM, I am taking Human mixtard Inj 70/30 20-0-30, for BP, Telsartan and metolar xr 25 morning and evening reply. Brilinta 90 mg 1-0-1, storvas 40 mgs and plagerine 75 mgs night time. For heart problem. I underwent angioplasty on Nov 02, 2015, as I had severe chest paid 3-4 days back and there was no attack. I used to masturbate from my young age ie when I was 15-16 years, by pressing penis to pillow/bed more and more frequently not knowing the consequences. I as suffering from erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation since 25 years almost I am unable to penetrate the penis into vagina, penis is used to come to normal immediately after erection, as there will be ejaculation. THERE IS NO HARDNESS IN PENIS, NO THICKNESS/LENGTH HAS ALSO COME DOWN. I TOOK HOMES/AYUR/ALLOPATHIC TREAT5EMENT WHO ARE specialized IN THSI FIELD BUT OF NO USE. Offler I am finding my memory is also coming down some times. I used to forget immediately. Sometimes thereiwll be blueness of vision (no cataract) I will sometimes nervousness want to go to sleep immediately. Appetite is also poor. Backside of head is also paid too much.

dear these are all not due to mastrubation but due to a phenomena called diabetic neuropathy..u need to maintain ur sugar levels in normal range before u can get treatment for it ..
erectile dysfunction is consequence of this
i need to get ur latest fasting ,pp sugar ,and hba1c levels reports first to decide for the treatment
