Hi lybrate-user!
hydroquinone can cause dryness and irritation in few individuals. First and foremost ,please stop hydroquinone few days. Use moisturiser like nivea cream or any other good one 2 to 3 times a day to prevent dryness. Stop using soap /face wash for few days to prevent dryness. Instead use plain water for cleansing the face for few days. Once everything sets, you can switch on to plain koijc or glycolic cream as skin lightening agent for maintenance.

Hello lybrate-user
both the creams are equally good.
But hydroquinone should not be applied for an extended period of time (avoid more than 3 months) as it can cause pigmentation as a side effect.
Apply it at night and if using this, give a break of 1-2 month if applying it continuously for a long period of time
and always remember to use sunscreen to prevent more pigmentation.

Hydroquinone and steroid based combinations are not to be used for more than a month. Even if you r not experiencing side-effects now it's making your skin thin and very sensitive leading to redness and heat sensitivity. You will experience problems when you stop using it as it's kind of addicting for the skin but you should stop it asap under the guidance of an m.d or DVD dermatologist. Permanent problems that could arise from such creams are excessive skin redness burning and itching, hair gro...more

Hello....
Homeopathic remedies control the excessive formation of melanin which play an important role for freckles. Gradually the dark spots become lighter than before; the occurrences of new patches reduce and ultimately stop.
While choosing medicines the cause of freckles is evaluated, for example, genetic predisposition, hormonal imbalances, sun exposure, poor immune system and so on.

Hello, skinlite cream is a strong pigmentation reducer cream and shouldn't be used without a dermatologist's prescription. It contains steroid, hydroquinone and tretinoin. Though initial effects with the cream are good but prolonged use may lead to thin dry skin with visible thread veins, acne, red irritated skin.
So now you should gradually reduce its use and start applying aloe vera cream.
Take care.
