Yes, you can continue under the supervision of a psychiatrist to monitor the effects, side effects and also to start psychotherapy (counseling for your son, family, cbt, coping skills, relaxation techniques) if its not yet started, combination of medication and psychotherapy work better.

Dear User, you could do that or there are dicorate er 250 mg tablets also available. Using that would be a better option. You can start off with using 1 and a half tablets initially then if you seem to still have a seizure, then i would suggest you to get the 250mg tabs. And yes, dicorate causes hairfall. Hi, here are a few tips that will help you:-
exercise 40-45 minutes 4-5 times a week.
Eat small frequent meals every 2 -3 hours
eat protein rich diet (especially post workout, it will help in building muscle) and improve metabolism.
Eat proper breakfast, as 40% of day's energy comes from breakfast.

Hi. Bipolar disorder has a relapsing remitting course. Every individual is different so frequency of mood episodes are also different in every individual. Medicines both terminate the mood episode as welll as it prevent the further recurrence. Keep in touch with your doctor he will adjust your medicines as per your status.

Tremors are a significant side effect of the medications and I believe that you will do well with taking the higher dose since you have not had a recurrent of epilepsy.
