Follow this 1. Don't take tea empty stomach. Eat something like a banana (if you are not diabetic) or any seasonal fruit or soaked almonds and a glass of water first thing in the morning (within 10 mins of waking up). Steroid (dexamethasone) are never used in case of fungal infections. It wil just worsen the condition. Antifungal cream and oral antifungals are used to treat ringworm. Keep the area clean and dry. Visit nearest dermatolgist .thanks.

Hello lybrate-user. Ultrasound scan is not a very good modality for appendicitis. CT scan is the gold standard. I do not rely completely on scans or lab reports and I believe in my clinical judgement.
