Hi Sir, I have taken the DEFCORT TM tablet for stone problem. My stone is out from my body but my sperm is in very less amount about a drop. Is it side effect of this medicines ? Please send me the solution please.

You should consult the doctor in person. Those medicines are harmful in pregnancy but if you're very sick you need to take them so consider getting an examination in person.

Wait for couple of days.
Then if do not get period and if sexually active do the urine pregnancy test, if not active or pregnancy ruled out then meet gynecologist.

Mr. lybrate-user, daily consumption of defcort is injurious to health. It has not of side effects. More over copd is less likely to respond to steroids. U need to be started on inhalers.

I am suffering from neck pain from last 10 days. I consulted a physiotherapist nearby my home. He advised me to take therapy for 5 days and oral medication which is deflazacort 6 mg and etoricoxib and thiocolchicoside. Twice a day for 5 days. Today is my 3rd day. One of my friend who is studying pharma, told me that deflazacort is a steroid drug and if I sudden stop its dose. There will be adverse effects on the body. I do not want to continue with steroid. Can you tell me if there will be any adverse effect if I stop taking it. I am scared of steroids.
