no need to worry jaundice after birth is a normal thing ,can happen to any child ,but if jaundice is by birth that it can be dangerous, so if jaundice occur after 24 hr of birth ,not a big issue, give sun light daily esp in morning of rising son ,mother should not take heavy antibiotics,within a few days your child will be okay. so take care .l. i think first paed. is right

Make sure baby is feed with adequate amount of fuel (motherâs milk). Small frequent feeding is needed.
Try to give a protect and good environment for the baby to sleep Check for the bowel movement and consistency. If he still has the same issues even after modification.

neonatal jaundice is a general condition which occures in every newborn dt change of foetal haemoglobin into adult Hb .Liver used to metabolize its byproducts.In case of some inf or ABOincompatibility this brekdown is excessive n liver is unable to metablize it so bil gets collected inliver n other vital organ including brain and cause permanent damage.hence baby shd be given prop breastfeed given sunlight prev any cross inf nif baby looks yellow consult paeds

This may be simple allergic cough due to some allergic agent around. Like dust, unclean furnishing, strong odor cosmetics, improper ventilation etc. When there is no fever, breathing difficulty or a wheezing sound during breathing or coughing antibiotics are not required. Antiamalarials cannot be given unless blood test is done and shows malaria. Simple paed cough syrup and saline nasal drops may suffice (avoid medicinal nasal drops.
