We will need a picture to know the severity of allergic reaction and proper history since the condition will recur if the thing that you're allergic to is not withdrawn completely! So I would advise a video consultation for this.
Till then you can take desloratidine 5 mg twice a day for the itching.

Hello sir, I have Three queries. First is regarding my dandruff problem. I am 34 years male. Since 15 years I have dandruff problem. Mine is a oily skin and requires head bath daily and I do head bath daily with Head and shoulders shampoo. Some times during winter and due to change of water, the intensity is high. Once I use selsun shampoo it would be alright. And later again the dandruff will appear after 2-3 months later. Is my practice correct. Is it fine to use shampoo like head and shoulder daily? Kindly suggest the best practice and right shampoo for my daily use. Second, I have chronic Urticaria since 1.5 years. I noticed it during last winter. Since it was mild. I did not bother. But this again repeated during this winter during Oct 16 and still continuing. The severity is more in winter and now the severity reduced but still persists. As per dermatologist recommendation, I stopped certain food items but still no use. Whe it's severe I use Tab. Dazit and Levocet daily. Kindly suggest the permanent solution for this Urticaria issue. Third, My wife hair fall issue, after having two kids 4 years old and 1.5 years old, she got severe hair fall issue since 1st pregnancy. Till now it's not stopped. Since 1 month she is using Tab. follihair daily as recommended by endocrinologist as she developed hypothyroidism during 2nd pregnancy. We both stay in Bangalore. We use mild hard water for daily bathing. Kindly suggest the right solution to reduce her severe hair fall problem. Many thanks in advance.

You can start eberconazole cream twice daily for local application and an antihistamine like levocetrizine or desloratidine.
But oral anti-fungal is also needed in your case for which I need to see the extent of involvement and also need to run a few investigations as you have recurrent tinea. So a personal query with detailed medical history is needed.
Hope that helps.

Dear lybrate-user, sorry to hear this. First of all, stop applying any medication at this point. If the kid is still having itching or redness. Please give him tablet dazit-m once daily. It may help to reduce the allergic response. We manage a lot of vitiligo patients and for best management, it is always better to meet the dermatologist face to face. You are welcome to contact us for an appointment if you prefer that.
