Hello, if at 8 weeks and 3 days there is still no metal pole and the gestational sac is empty then this is a chemical pregnancy or simply failed pregnancy. Metal pole generally appears by 6-7 weeks. So you may discuss with your physician and contemplate medical termination of pregnancy, regards.

The swelling you are describing is likely to be due to venous congestion of the part i.e. Blood remains in the area accumulated for some time. You are likely to have haemorrhoids as well along with the fissure. Please get your self re-examined by your surgeon.
