Desvenlafaxine is FDA category C drug,it's given in pregnancy only if it's use outweighs it's risk
You should consult your doctor as it should not be stopped abruptly as it may cause withdrawal symptoms.
If your doctor feels you need to switch over to another antidepressants he will change the medicine

The most effective solution for dealing with anxiety for me personally was waking up early. I am not a morning person but once I tried this, I was surprised how good this made me feel. It helped me find peace and calm myself down. Having so much time in my hand I could do small things that made me happy and I felt a sense of accomplishment just by waking up early. I feel the most anxious during the night- so sleeping early really helped me tackle it to a great extent.

Consult the treating Psychiatrist before doing anything as not tablets retain their bioavailability after being crushed. The amount of medication available within the body may reduce if it is crushed and mixed with food items. Consult the treating Psychiatrist for alternative medication which is orodispersible or mixes with food.

They are safe to combine, but clofranil is given for obsessive thoughts and not for panic. If they are given by a psychiatrist, do tke them. Else get another opinion. Good luck.
