Hello Lybrate User
You need to consult to your psychiatrist for the same as you have been taking the medication on and off. Moreover, try to figure out that what is causing the anxiety within you. Because it is very important to understand the 'what' of anxiety so that you can also discuss about it and it will lower down to a level. Regards.

Paxotus 12.5 mg Tablet is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) antidepressant. It works by increasing the levels of serotonin, a chemical messenger in the brain. This improves mood and physical symptoms in depression and relieves symptoms of panic and obsessive disorders.
You should not make any changes to the dose prescribed and if needed you must discuss with your doctor and decide on the dose or changing of it

The 2 medicines r good ones. Folic acid is not a primary or secondary antidepressant. Instead you can try tetrafol, which is nowadays given as adjuvant. All the best.
