It may happen. But still misoprost should be consumed as complete emptying of uterus may not occur only with mifepristone.

Health Query

After took misoprostol abortion pill ,2 hours later I had vomiting, and then bleeding had started. My question is after eat misoprostol tablet vomiting should be/may be occurred or not? It is normal or abnormal? After vomiting (ulti) pill working properly or not? And after bomibing pill's work should be /might be slower. My bleeding continue now, what am I taken misoprostol tablet again or not? It's seems to be normal or not? Pls give information with proper guidance. Pls.

Misoprost is a progesterone it may cause vomiting. You take medicine under doctor guidence and get usg.

Mtp kit is to be taken under the supervision of a gynecologist. It can cause menstrual irregularity and at times infertility also, if infection occurs.

Hi Priya , if their is incomplete abortion which can give rise to infection and creat problem in future pregnancy .
Don't take any medicines without doctor's supervision.

Hi. I am pregnant for 37 days (5 weeks 2 days. My age 27 yrs. Yesterday at 4 pm I taken mifepristone tablet which it is in top of the kit. Today I taken at 11 am misoprostol and now I taken another misoprostol at 4 pm now. But still bleeding not started .what is the reasons? Anything serious?

Cytolog to be taken only if pregnancy is confirmed. If confirmed and then taken then next step is to get sonography done 15 days after treatment

Take the next dose 24 hours after the previous dose. The whole schedule is wrong. Lets hope for the best.

My friend had an unwanted pregnancy. When we consulted female gynecologist, she suggested mifepristone 200 mg orally one hour post lunch which she had on 03rd june 4 pm. Doc has advised to take 2 200 mg misoprostol on 5th june at 3 pm followed by another 2 200 mg at 11 pm by orally. Doc did a ultrasound to confirm the pregnancy and she told around its 4 weeks of pregnancy. She has her last period on 25/04/2019. She also has give 1 mg ezee antibiotic on 05th june morning. While going through medicine kit, it has mentioned to take misoprostol through vagina, even after search on sites it is advised to take the medicine. Below tongue or between gum and cheeks. Please confirm on the mode of dosage for best results and do not want to have any issue later. Thanks for anticipated reply for expert docs on this.

oral misoprost works equally well. u need to do a repeat usg on day 14 after misoprost to ensure its a complete procedure
