Ian 24 year old girl. I underwent abortion process when I was 7 week pregnant .i had taken misoprostol and mifestron as per doctors consult. After 2wk of taking tablet my urine test showed positive. I consulted back to doctor. She kept cytolog into vaginal cavity and I did not bleed .yellow discharge is coming out. What should I do now how to clear abortion by myself .i'm unable to consult personally.

Get a trans abdominal scan done to see whether uterine cavity still has products of conception. Do a ser. Bhcg. If it is less than 100 iu, you can wait. If it increases after 3 dys, d&e required. Always exclude molar gestation by hpr.

I took mifegest kit - first the mifepristone then after 12 hours I took 2 tab of misoprostol, put under tongue and hold for 30 minutes but it ddnt dissolve, I swallowed with water after. After 12 hours I will take again remaining 2 tab of misoprostol. Is this process effective?

The schedule of the medicine is mife followed by miso after 48 hrs. So can't say. But it should act.

Mtp kit is to be taken under the supervision of a gynecologist. It can cause menstrual irregularity and at times infertility also, if infection occurs.

Hi Priya , if their is incomplete abortion which can give rise to infection and creat problem in future pregnancy .
