you are very right about normal range of tsh levels. At 8.5 milli units/ml, with normal t4, the condition is classified as sub- clinical hypothyroidism. This normally is not treated with any drugs. It is difficult to get pregnant in pcos.
Hormonal pills are given to regularise the menses. After that it is stopeped and tried for pregnancy.
But the periods do not remain regular for longer time.
As the hormonal pills is not a natural solution and very harmful.
