Pain can cause sweating. Thats expected. If pain is decreasing with cyclopam, then its a colic (pain from bowels/ or may be urine tube). He needs a basic ultrasound scan of abdomen. Ask him to avoid fatty meals, reduce legumes, and drink adequate water.

It is not safe to take pain killers during menstrual cramps. Inner layer of uterus containing blood vessels sheds of in the form of menstrual blood.
