Hi!
Even though you are not going to sun, SUNSCREEN is important as artificial sources of light like computer screen, tube lights etc can emit UVB radiation and cause tanning .One more important thing is , tretinoin is retinoid cream which causes exfoliation of skin ,so sunscreen is a must and should .

Hydroquinone and steroid based combinations are not to be used for more than a month. Even if you r not experiencing side-effects now it's making your skin thin and very sensitive leading to redness and heat sensitivity. You will experience problems when you stop using it as it's kind of addicting for the skin but you should stop it asap under the guidance of an m.d or DVD dermatologist. Its not advisable to use cosmolite cream for a long duration as it contains steriod and hydroquinone which can cause various side effects like thinning of skin redness ,irritation etc. You can use creams containing natural ingredients like kojic acid ,arbutinin and mulberry extracts. Chemical peels can also be done to remove tan and restore natural skin tone. For that consult dermatologist.

Hii dear...This cream is a combination of hydroquinone, tretinoin, and steroid. It is a skin lightening medication used for hyperpigmentation, it has lot of side effects when used on normal skin. Long term use of steroids can cause infections, acneiform eruption, atrophy, etc. Long term use of hydroquinone can cause exogenous ochronosis. Kindly avoid such creams for skin lightening. It must only be used for hyperpigmentation when indicated.

First of all you are too young to be using such creams. In long term all such demelanizing creams will cause lot of harm to your skin. Use proper sun protection and vitamin c serums at night to give you a natural fairness and avoid damaging it skin.

Both have hydroquinone as ingredient & this should not use for more then 1 month, otherwise this will cause more severe darkness (exogenous ochronosis ). Melasma have different types & darkness on your face may not be melasma & may be other disease like pih, ochronosis, riehl" s melanosis. So you should consult with your dermatologist. He will find out what disease you have & treat you accordingly.
