I have been prescribed to a shampoo named Arcolane (ketoconazole 2% Scalp) and I have been using it since 8 months and now I got to see another doctor because it was good and removes dandruff but not improving hair growth. So this new doc told me to use Keraglo-AD anti dandruff shampoo it seems more herbal with all thought same ketoconazole thing. Which one will good in these two. Well I am having fungal infection in my hairs. And lost all my hairs and still suffering from have dandruff if stop using these shampoo.

Ketoconazole shampoo use only for fungal infection removal only. It can not regrow hair. Use minoxidil hair oil for regrowth hair.
Take minerals/ vitamins and protein rich meal. Or take hormones therapy.

I have lots of dandruff on my head if I apply coconut oil after wash its stop dandruff or else the dandruff become very full I consulted respected dermatologist he has asked me to use ketoconazole and zinc pyrithione shampoo. My brother was applied head and shoulder shampoo and his hairs become white so respected dermatologist please suggest me should I use ketoconazole and zinc pyrithione shampoo will it cause white hair?

Use any sulphate free shampoo for normal wash. For your dandruff you can use ketoconazole shampoo. Keep it for 10mins and then only wash. Wash 3times a week. Don't over do. Or your hair will become very dry.

Hi. I don't know what shampoos have you used previously. I would recommend you to use ketoconazole shampoo for dandruff. But make sure you keep it for 10mins and then only you wash off.

For hair growth, you should take protein rich diet.Massage your hair with almond oil.Keep it overnight and rinse itoff the next morning.You may use ketoconazole shampoo for dandruff.

Do this for once or twice a week to cure dandruff. Apply ketoconazole lotion on your scalp once in a week.
