Hye.
Anything in excess can become harmful for the body.
Taking 2 cups of tea or coffee is not a problem as long as it's not taken to wake up, replace a snack or suppress appetite.
The problem with aerated drinks is not as much as about caffeine but more so about the chemicals and sugars present in them too.
So, keep to moderation and avoid excessive intake of either.

You can. The point is why would you want to give medicine for cold. Cold is a viral infection which will go away on it’s own. Allow your child’s immunity to fight it. It will improve her resistance to such common infections. Use medication only if she is in genuine discomfort or developed a fever.
