Sir, I am a diabetic patients and my sugar level very high. How I control my sugar level? Advice me.
1. Do regular exercise for 30 minutes daily like brisk walking
2. Reduce weight if overweight
3. Control diet
a) avoid sweets, sugar/honey, full cream milk, milk product excess calorie and carbohydrate rich diet like white bread, cereal, rice, pasta

First of all congratulations for your little one. Check your blood sugars atleast once a day. Your fasting blood sugar should be between 70-90 mg/dl and after meals it should be 110-140 mg/dl.
Have small meals every 2-3 hrs. Eat high protein diet like lots of sprouts, paneer, channa. Avoid carbohydrates like rice based food, pastas, biscuits. Drink lots of water and eat in lots of salads. Mr. Lybrate-user, if a person develops diabetes, then he should initiate proper treatment. Treatment will depend upon type of diabetes and severity of blood glucose levels.
