Asked for Male, 54 years old from Mumbai

My fasting sugar on 3 feb was 106 and on 4th, 122. I take 1350 mg metformin, vitamin e, rosuvastatin 10 mg, thyroxine 75 mg. My heart rate is average 90 and bp 113/69. Why there is variation in my glucose level? Do I need to continue to take metformin? I taking coversyl 4 mg, since my bp is in control .lower level can I stop the drug?

Please let me know when was diabetes diagnosed and what were the glucose levels when diagnosis was made? Now what is the PP glucose value and HbA1c%? Similarly what is the TSH value?
As regards the variation in fasting glucose levels those are bound to occur because food intake every day varies and hence conversion to glucose also is different. Thanks.

I have been a type 2 diabetic I am on following medication, I am type 2 diabetic and a heart condition of small blockage in arteries for which I am consulting a diabetelogist and a cardiactrist as well. I have recently got my medical dosage checked from both doctors and following this medication as prescribed by them. Since 2 days I am feeling dizziness and weakness every morning. What can be the reason. I have been asked to take all these medicines in night after dinner. Pls advice pioz 15 coversyl 2 novastat cu.

I am a male of 52 years, on hypertension & t. I. A. Medications for the past many years. Recently I suffered with sudden low bp, dizziness, weakness in left leg which were diagnosed as recurring t. I. A. In all cardiac tests, xray, brain mri, nothing adverse was indicated. While hospitalized, the doctors recovered me with the administration of enclex injections. In the follow-up treatment I was prescribed with atorvastatin, esprin, pacitame, clonotril and clopiogril tablets, coversyl, arreno tablets etc. With these medicines, the improvement in my condition was poor. On 2nd opinion from another neurologist, I was prescribed zevert -16, an antacid cap, coversyl, clonotril, pacitane, arreno capsules. These medications have a little better effects. Kindly advice which one treatment I may continue. Matter most urgent

First opinion is better, but change clonotril with fludac 20mg, it will give better response & removes mild to moderate ataxia as reported with tia pt.

I am 68 years old. I have bp and sugar problems. I take following medicines dimicron xr 500 meg 1-0-1 concor 5 mg 1-0-0 ecospirin 150 mg 1-0-0 tazloc h 40 1-0-0 cardium 1-0-0 moxovus 0.3 mg 0-1-0 atorva 40mg 0-0-1 mini press xl 5 mg 0-0-1 prax 10 mg 0-0-1 (i had a staint installed 2 years back) coversyl plus 0-0-1 my bp is 145/60 at the fasting, sugar 115 at the fast, chlestrol 115 and all other parameters are normal. I take insulins lantus 14 units at bed time mixtard 26-0-14 units I take isabgol before bedtime. Please comment. Can I reduce medicines?

Hi Mam I am high bp patient and taking bp medicine from last around 2 years and doctors also was not able to find the exact reason behind my bp and now I have been diagnosed with sleep apnea and started using cpap machine but from last some days I am feeling very much depressed because sometimes my pulse rate increases suddenly and that is only the reason for my tension and because of this issue I am not able to go any new place or not able to meet my gf also just anything goes in my mind about pulse rate I am now very much depressed because I am not able to go anywhere because of the tension of my pulse rate in my mind I am taking bp medicine Amlopres at 25/5 mg twice a day and coversyl 4 mg once a day I feels very much weak so please guide me what to do.

My mother Tara Verma is 59 years old. She previously had problem of low BP. But one day in a routine check up we found that she had high BP. We instantly consulted the doctor. Doctor prescribed her coversyl, telmisartan like medicines. She started having it. After some months we decided to switch to ayurveda. She started having Patanjali Mukta Vati, Medha Vati and Famyfot Capsules as prescribed by the Patanjali Doctor. Actually recently I lost my father, her husband. She is feeling a little weakness also. On walking a small distance there is muscular pain in the thighs. She remains very dull and tensed nowadays. Please prescribe something which helps.

Health Query

My father who is 72 years old has started frequent urination problem which occurred again after 8 years back. He is unable to hold is urine & has to go bathroom for every 1 or 2 hours in a day. Although he doesn't urinate much & gets a burning sensation while urinating. One of the doctors prescribed him (esogress d, zifi 200 & urimax 0.4) but after 3 days he stopped the medicine because of stomachache. He has high b. P. For which he takes coversyl plus & diabetes he takes galvus met 250 twice a day. I checked his blood pressure and diabetes but both are in normal state. Because he is panicked to visit a doctor for covid 19, can anyone prescribe here some good medications or home remedies?

Your father condition is more serious than covid19, please understand do not find an alibi to avoid medical attention and for god sake do not take medicine as you like without proper guidence. As per your description your father must be suffering from one of the most serious complications of kidney failure. Please take him to a good hospital where covid19 screening and protection is there. Being educated please use your sences wisely.

Asked for male, 61 years old from Meerut

Male -age 59-last 7 years hypertension bp lots of medicine changed in this duration because bp not controlled for a longer time .medicine like-nebistar-sa. Telmistar and ct40 also. Coversyl 4/5 am etc. But after some times bp shoots to 160/100 now last 3 days Dr. started amlozaar-h now bp is 126/85. Regularly I checked lipid and urea creatinine but uric acid is on higher side so I take febustat 40. Sir should I continue almozaar h or switch to some other medicine.
