Getting out of addiction is tricky as it is a chronic disease like asthma or copd. It is advisable to seek consultation from a psychiatrist in person. There are many issues involved in successful treatment of addiction. Good luck.

Dear lybrate-user, congratulations for accepting yourself as drug addict and taking treatment to reduce the harm to your life.
Please continue to be in contact with your doctor for many years even after stopping codeine and heroin. Relapses and lapses are common and you need to be continuously on relapse prevention methods. The longer you are on follow up, the better will be your life. All the best.

Look you have abused many substances known to produce dependence. If you have anxiety do not self medicate by these drugs as these may harm you, better take professional advise from a psychiatrist for deaddiction and control of your anxiety symptoms.
