For high BP there are better medications than concor so please consult a cardiologist. Also I hope in your tests an Echo, TMT, lipid profile and RFT were done, if not please get them done and evaluated by a cardiologist.

Mr. lybrate-user, With hypertension some times there can be pedal (lower limb) edema. Some times certain medications can also produce the swelling. Keeping BP 120 - 130 / 70 to 80 mmHg is good. Plus restricted salt intake and exercise will help in remaining free from it. Thanks.

Instead of medication, first try lifestyle measures like - daily exercising for 40-45 mins, avoiding stimulants like caffeine and decreasing foods with high salt intake like pickles, chips, chutneys etc (salt added during cooking is fine) and quitting smoking (in case you smoke) If after 6-8 weeks of these measures your BP is still high, you will need medications in addition to these lifestyle measures.

You should probably get your counseling done. You have to let go. Trust is very important. Trust destiny/god and leave it unto it. You should realize it is just a negative imagination, which brings anxiety and ill-health.

Well for your high BP you need to get investigated to look for your cardiac health and any target organ damage. Besides medicines for BP control you will need further treatment to reduce your cardio vascular risk.
