Asked for female, 28 years old from Chennai

My baby 2 months is going continuously loose motion. I gone to doctor he gave econorm, bifilac and z ne d drops, now he Is having motion little little at a time of interval. While he releasing gas the motion will come. Very problem for him and me. Day 5 started. Meanwhile I'm not using pampers in day, only in night time. I gave motion and urine test also. Everything is normal my paed said. And finally said my breast milk might be a sensitive to him. So that he is having that problem and he suggest zerolac to use to my 2 months baby. Today he is having little little light motion only. Not frequently. Day 5 of using those medicines to my little. Then also I want to use this zerolac ah. Please suggest And the symptoms not common. No vomiting Not losing weight .he gains weight only Dehydration not found. Yellow colour motion. No fever No excess of crying. Sometimes occur But sometime he will push out while going motion. That's all. And finally he passes urine frequently. Thank you.

My granny (63 year old) have skin allergic problem suffering since 4 to 5 year, had consult with several doctors but don't get positive result, only get relief while taking medicine and lotion, have too much dry skin without rubbing oil & lotion (home remedies), feel itching through out the day. What type of test should go through it. Suggest me any lotion/tablets. Currently following these medicine, attached picture of skin allergy 1. Miconazole nitrate cream 2. Chlorpheniramine maleate tablet 3. Itraconazole capsules.

your list of medicines show that she has fungal infection, to confirm it you may post a few pics and consult online even elderly people may have dry dermatitis due to aging of the skin.

Dear Sir/madam I diagnosed with TB on 6 jun 2018. I had plural fluid in my right lung so my doctor removed it and started the treatment of TB with AKT 4. I fill very well after the treatment started but from 22 jun 2018 again I am not filling well and the cough is again started. Today I was go to my doctor and tell him my cough again started. He advised me to do cheat x ray and ESR test. Todays ESR result is 92 which is 80 on 16 jun 2018. In chest x-ray also some amount of plural fluid is increased. Hence he prescribed me to 1.Dextromethorphan HBR and amylmetacresol lozenges 2.Moxifloxacin Hcl 3.cetrizine dihcl 4. becosules 5.AKT 4 6.pyridoxine Hcl. I want ask you that can cough increase after the treatment started or it may be due another reason.

I have been suffering from coughing for 1 month. For first week I have taken moxikind 650 mg twice daily. Then, I have taken azithromycin 500 mg once daily with cough syrup codistar dx and cetrizine for 5 days. It made my cough more worsen. Then, I took medisedyl dx cough syrup. It made my cough more worsen and also I started vomit. Then, the sound of my cough changed with a high pitch sound. I always coughed mostly at night. Then, after 3 day I continued with moxikind twice daily for 3 days. Then, I took jufex forte syrup and fifatrol tablet and cetrizine for 3 days. Day by day, my cough was getting worse. Then, I took dextromethorphan hydrobromide syrup thrice a day for 2 days and cetrizine at night. Then my cough get worse and worse. And currently I was taking levolin plus syrup and cetrizine and cefpodoxime proxetil tablet. It did not provide me any relaxation. Whenever I cough, firstly I inhale deep breath with a very annoying and weird sound and then I start coughing with very dense saliva. I am 14 years old boy. I have no relief.

It's about 3 monts of pregnancy and feeling fever with some cold. We have Nozee tablet which containg 500mg of paracitomol. Can we take this, if yes at what duration and amount. Waiting for reply

Yes u can take it safely. But not empty stomach and not more than twice a day as it contain cetrizine. It also contain Phenylephrine which is only recommended for use during pregnancy when benefit outweighs risk. So I suggest u take medicines without phenylephrine

Health Query

I am 45 years old woman. I constantly take cough syrup containing codeine phosphate and chlorpheniramine or trypolidin like 5 bottles or more a day. I cannot become normal without taking it first. It makes me sweat a lot. Sometimes I used to pass out unconscious but later wake up. When I try to stop, I become sleepy, my legs hurt and cannot sleep, runny noise and no stamina. My eyes hurts I become restless and sweat so much. Now a day I take anxynil and alprazolam like 6 nos or more too. I do not mingle with my friends rather I like watching tv or readv novels. I eat my diabetes medicine like glycomet, bp control ,pantop dsr and some vitamins daily. I wish I could stop it. This isbmaking drink cold drink frequently. Its hard to sleep early. I smoke cigarettes. My weight turn heavy and I am now a fat one. Is there any hope for me to stop it all but it affects my financial condition. Is there any side effect just for taking syrup. Is there a substitute while trying to stop without suffereeinbpbpppp. please help me.

You have become addicted. Also please do thyroid scan. Reduce your cough syrup intake slowly don't stop abruptly and do exercises. Go for long walks in the morning and evening. You have to find time for yourself.

Asked for male, 46 years old from Chandrapur

Fever with headache for 1 day 10 days back followed by giddiness and fainting. Since 7 days palpitation and breathlessness. Tested for covid 19. antigen test.test was negative. Hrct chest done score is 12. Favipiravir started 5 days before. Spo2 97- 98% since 10 days ,vitals stable. Medicine given are as follows. Tab doxy 1 bd x 5 days tab vitc+d3+zinc 1bd tab montelukast levocetirizine 1od tab predmet 16 mg od x 5 days then next tab predmet 8 mg od x 5 days then next tab predmet 4 mg od x 5 days tab favipiravir 1800 mg bd first day followed by tab favipiravir 800 mg bd x 14 days. Betadine gargles tds daily syp. Macberry (dextromethorphan hydrobromide) 5 ml tds tab ultavit (multivitamin). 1 od cap pantop-d 1 od tab cefuroxime axetil 500 1 bd x 5 days. Patient is not consuming diet well. What we can do further. Any changes in medicine? Any thing we can add? Patient has breathlessness after coming from wash room and it last for 10-15 min.

diet is most important in covid as it weakens our immune system. If your patient is not diabetic then she should take sufficient ors to keep herself hydrated. What is the oxygen saturation of patient when she is breathless?
As of now no changes in medicine is required.
Advice patient to do breathing exercise using incetive spirometer to increase the functioning of lungs.
