Medical abortion should always be done under doctor guidance and the success rate is highest when done before 7 weeks of pregnancy a usg must be done before medical abortion to confirm the period of pregnancy and location.
Proper dosing of mifepristone and misoprostol is important.

Bleeding should start after misoprostol. At times bleeding is there for 12-13 days. Then ultrasound is done to ensure complete evacuation.

You need to wait for 24 hr and if the pregnancy will be more then 6-7 week's then medicines will not be effective.
