About Contramal 50 MG Capsule

An opioid agonist, Contramal 50 MG Capsule works as a pain reliever, providing relief from both moderate and severe pain. Similar to endorphins, it binds to the receptors in your body. These receptors will decrease the pain messages that your body generally sends to the brain when you are in pain. The medicine has to be taken orally and is available in three forms - an immediate-release tablet, an extended-release tablet and a capsule. The immediate-release tablet releases into the blood stream at once whereas the extended-release tablets release gradually over time. The medicine can be taken as a combination therapy, where you take it along with other medications for your treatment.

Contramal 50 MG Capsule works as a pain reliever, used in the treatment of both moderate and severe pain. Being a controlled substance, it must be taken under the close supervision of a doctor. It belongs to a drug group which is known as opioid agonists. The medicine works by bringing a change in the process of how the brain senses pain. It binds to the receptors that decrease the pain messages sent by the body to your brain, thus decreasing the amount of pain that you experience.
